The TMF is the GREATEST place on God's green internet. This place for me encapsulates everything that society should be like generally. It has given me a feeling of normalcy and the sense of not being alone in my proclivities any more. Why then, do some of the more unsavoury aspects of the normal world have to start invading our space?
We come from all backgrounds and walks of life. Rich and poor, thin and fat, ugly and beautiful, black and white, intelligent and stupid, generous and mean, happy and sad, American and European etc etc etc, I think you get the idea. Of late I notice more and more "cliques" and "groups" forming within our ranks. This saddens the hell out of me, because it's becomming divisive and it's making the members of these so-called groups be less sociable to others than they might otherwise be. The same sort of thing used to happen when I belonged to a society that re-enacted the American Civil War. We'd go away for a weekends enjoyment and the people on either side never used to even talk to each other. Why? I have no clue. There's no logic to it when the public wasn't looking and here there is no reason for it ever.
As a friend of mine would say, "No names, no pack drill" but I think the people I'm talking about will know what I mean. Please people, it took us long enough to find and then create from the inside, a place like this and we can't afford to have the air soured now. I'm not asking for anyone to change their personalities or have plastic surgery; just treat everyone else as if they're a friend, even if they ARE an arsehole. That doesn't mean sharing your life with em, it just means be friendly on the surface for the five seconds you're aware of each other.

It's the bitchiness between people that gets me, and some of the other people I know down.
