Personally, over the past couple of years, the thought of extracting a right proper confession out of this attractive yet obvious sociopath has crossed my mind more than once.

And Myriads, I fully sympathize with your desire not to have to referee the ramped immaturity around here, but this subject is a current event and as such will inevitably invoke a desire for discussion.

To help reduce the effort, may I suggest a short leash with appropriately administered bans for indiscriminate violators? Perhaps a “thinning of the herd” around here would actually benefit the overall atmosphere.

Personally, I only think she is semi-cute and the act that I personally believe that she committed (personally believe, before anyone jumps all over me) kills any minor attraction I may or may not have had. That said, in all seriousness, someone explain to me this stigma that appears to be growing with speaking of her and why it is taboo?

Legally, she is now just another semi-cute free citizen out and about. While I may personally believe differently, I'm not sure what now sets here apart from anyone else out there.

I guess I'll just jump out and be blunt (and possibly be warned for it, but since this isn't something I normally do I'll just come out with it): Is this taboo label being pressed by the "We won't do this to some innocent lady" group or is this being pressed by the "we don't fantasize about baby killers" group? Because other than those two possible labels, she's just another party happy person who posted god knows how many pictures of herself online (including some topless) and who has seen some tragedy in her life, which probably doesn't make her any different than most other people who post pictures of themselves (saying otherwise would mean that you think most of these folks are shallow shells with no lives of their own at all).

I thought it was an obvious attempt at flame-bait, to draw people in to rage at the sickness and utter indecency of the idea, ala Nancy Grace (hence the reference), and thus, deserving of closure. I didn't think anyone could seriously be able to circumvent basic human decency and use this awful situation for stroke-off material...I really didn't.

But I was wrong. So very, very wrong. Some people are genuinely into that idea.

So, it stays open. If for no other purpose than to illustrate that for some people, there is no such thing as out of bounds.
