The US guaranteed personal and religious freedom. So of course also people moved there who where extreme Puritans and believed Europe was too open-minded. 🙂 Meaning you have all kinds of extremes in the US...just like in Europe.

Honestly i hear complains about everyone about this or that state.....wasn't US the place where freedom and open minded people lives? Hearing some comments seems to say the opposite.....it sounds almost like the south area of Italy, where people still believe that drinking potions and praying makes you heal from cancer, instead of going to hospital and take medications 🙂 (no offense ppl).

Well I cannot speak for other people in the US, but here in the south where it's predominately run by uptight Conservative Christians who are so repressed they're afraid of their own shadows, anything other than just plain 'ol 'vanilla sex' is pretty much frowned upon.

But I find the more 'liberal' folk, mainly in the San Fran areas are generally the most open-minded and laid back.
