Why PayPal’s crackdown on ASMR creators should worry you

This article was written on 9/14/2018. So, I don't know what's happened since then, except for a good, but small update at the bottom of the article.

I put this in TD because I am kinda sorta ASMR. Now... I'll be looking into Soundcloud guidelines, but those could change at any moment. The only thing I can think of, is that I just go back to using dropbox. (If Soundcloud bans adult content/ ASMR, etc) (Maybe Dropbox will change too...) Are our options running out?

PayPal has always nuked tickle related accounts, a lot of us that use it have had to come up with runarounds. I recommend starting a PayPal account with a pre-paid Visa card and using that as your "business" account. Getting paid into the business account, immediately transfer it from that account into your "real"/personal PP. While the account you use to take fetish content payments may be nuked, there's no rule against money being sent from it to another account, leaving your other account safe.

As far as Soundcloud, I have no idea.

Thank you! That sounds like a good idea. The only question I have now is: Do I have to use my real name on either 1, or both of these accounts? I mean... I'd like to stick with Captured Doll to let people know it's definetly me. Or do I pick some randomn name like Jennifer Stuart?

I'd still kinda like to use Patreon. But... I wish I could word it in such a way that didn't draw attention to it. That it's a Fetish oriented Patreon.

PayPal wants nothing to do with sex work or sex workers in any shape, form, or fashion. I know of many producers, fetish/porn models, and professional BDSM players who's accounts got shutdown plus their money was seized as well. The general rule nowadays is to use it as little as possible, don't advertise it, if someone does pay you tell them to leave the reason for payment blank, and deposit the money into your bank account the moment you receive it. I only use it when I get custom orders. I also use Square Cash, which so far as been more sex worker friendly. There is also Gift Rocket, but I have never used that one.
