I'm sure everyone here has probably wondered why they have our common interest in the first place. But, for me, the question is double.

I have a tickling fetish. Yep. It's true. That's why we're all here...

However.....

many who know my past posts know that I also have a socks fetish. But tickling through socks is difficult. My fetishes don't make any sense!

I've always wondered why. Barefeet are more ticklish than socked feet. So what's the deal? Any others give it any thought?
 
I don't know. Personally I never found tickling socks any more or less difficult than tickling bare feet. I can only speak for myself on this one, but maybe it'll help you.
There are a lot of reasons I prefer tickling socks. For one, yes, socks sometimes don't make feet as ticklish, but all that really means is that you have more time to enjoy tickling them. Also, there is the fact that socks feel so soft under your fingertips, and that might appeal to you. Also, with me, I just don't find bare feet as appealing as I do socked feet. Maybe you're the same way.
That might help, it might not. However, I don't really see anything wrong or contradictory about the two fetishes.
 
tickling over a thin material makes it tickle more, though socks are too thick for this to work, unless there are thin. that's why people like nylons, they tickle more than bare or socked feet.

now i love barefeet, nothing more sexy than the soft wrinkly soles, even if it tickles less than nylons, i don't care.
 
Maybe it's the fact that there is some amount of protection for your lee...but you can still get to them, and make them squirm and laugh, despite their feeble attempt at protection...
 
Nothin better than a thin pair of ankle socks, love em love em.
 
Perhaps it is because you yourself desire for there to be some sort of separation between you and those whom you are concerned with. It makes sense if you think about it.
 
You say tickling through socks is difficult. Do you enjoy the challenge of tickling through socks?

My feet are more ticklish with my socks on sometimes, so I think it's possible for a girl to be the same way.

And you can still tickle a girl's socked feet really good even if it tickles less than when they are bare.

Just tickle her upperbody for a while first. It will make her feet more ticklish.

Oh it's definitely possible. My second ex-girlfriend (One I still talk to) is like that. Barefoot she's pretty ticklish, but get her in socks, and wow:super_hap

I agree with sockstickler, esp with ankle socks.
 
Do not question thyself why you have 2 different fetishes; instead enjoy both as much as thy can🙂 Simply combine them both! FIRST enjoy the socks, and when your'e done enjoying them, pull them off en THEN enjoy the tickling!

That does make sense rightyo?😡

Thanks man. To be honest I've never really understood why people assume socks automatically (automa-tickle-y?) equal less ticklish. I've definitely met my share of girls who are actually more ticklish with socks than without them.

I don't know either, I actually had one gf tell me to take off her socks because it tickled less barefoot. I know it goes against most peoples thinking but it is a fact that socks do not make feet less ticklish, in my experience anyway. Socks are so great and I love em!
 
I'm less ticklish wearing socks , this is why i wear socks when sleeping since i was 8 , cuz once. my father tickled me to wake me up for about 5 minutes and i didnt want it to happen again 🙁
 
I think that sock tickling is more fun that barefoot tickling. I agree with Camel....from personal experience I always used to think that if I wore socks they would protect my feet-i was so so wrong.haha.But that's the element of fun-thinking that it won't tickle that much, but then the ler manages to overcome that little barrier-where there is a will there's a way. lol.
I've tickled one of my (male) friend's socked feet...he was wearing thick sports socks and his feet were really ticklish...was quite funny watching his reactions.I was surprised that even through his thick socks it still managed to tickle him so bad.

Talking of socks.I've bought some trainer socks recently and the pattern on the socks are actually printed on the bottom rather than the top(so the pattern appears on the soles of your feet). My boss had some as well like that and we both found it rather odd that the pattern appeared (technically) the 'wrong' way round. When my boss pointed them out on hers the first thing I thought of was maybe it's to encourage more foot tickling.lol.So seeing as there are sock tickling fans in this thread and you've talked about different styles of socks you prefer-if you saw a pattern on a person's sock printed on the soles of the feet as opposed to the top of the foot(like a normal patterned sock)-do you think that would encourage you to tickle them or as a way to randomly tickle their feet?
 
Oh yeah, pattern on the bottoms means somebody is gettin tickled good. Thats like asking for it.
 
I would say it all depends on the person and conditions of the feet that moment. I have experienced girls who is very ticklish barefoot and not so ticklish with socks, but other days it's been the oposite.

Tickling socked feet can be very fun as well. Been a long time since I tryed it, but Im gonna do some research on it next weekend when little lanthi visits us. And it DOES make sense dude. 😉 Don't worrie. I can't call myself a sockfetishist, but I absolut have a fasination for it as well. Like I tell my friend when I try to explain my foot fetish. "Socks is like the sexy underwear for feet" :laughing:
 
Socks, no socks, apples, oranges. If you're ticklish -you're ticklish. If you're not - you're not. Only one thing is for certain: at least wearing socks can hide a pair of hideous feet in some cases.

Seriously, I have always found that wearing socks or nylons- for me- cuts down tremendously on the sensitivity. For what it's worth.
 
Regarding the first question at the beginning of the topic, perhaps the sock fetish doesn't necessarily have a direct connection to tickling, at all! I mean, like a lot of people here said, wearing socks generally reduces the tickly feeling (except in special cases, as Sockstickler put it). But (in my case, anyway) that doesn't necessarily mean a reduction in the enjoyment of the action, itself. Because, for me, socks on a girls' feet are really cute! It makes me want to tickle those footsies even more, and that actually enhances the experience! So...reduction of ticklishness, but increase in the "OMG cuteness!!!" level. That's coming from a guy without an actual sock "fetish," however. Just putting in my two cents. 😉

They're also ADORABLE when they start wiggling their toes within a sock! Heeheeee!!! :redface:

Use a thin sock and it should be easy or stockings work
