Join us tonight as WCR devotes its monthly human interest show to the touchy topic of racism and intolerance.

We will be joined by two members of the community for a roundtable discussion covering a wide variety of personal introspections into this multi-faceted topic.

Sitting down with Cindy and I tonight will be Tamia, EcEu and Robace as we share personal stories, insights and ask questions of one another.

It has never been the policy of WCR to "screen callers", however, due to the sensitivity of the subject matter, we've decided to do so this evening. Anyone wishing to call in can whisper to Cindy or myself during the show, and we'll get you on. We encourage the input of our audience, and welcome varied views on the topic...but we are going to be doing everything we can to make this a civil, intelligent and open discussion.

I guess this means that any music played on the radio shows has to be tickle related as well. Hmmmm....how to remedy that one? Oh, I know!

OK, who's calling motown to get more tickle songs produced?

Seriously, though. There's MUCH more to this community and the people in it than just tickling. I'd really feel sorry for you if that's all your life is about. How boring it would get!

While all of the shows on the TMF Radio line-up delve into the topic of tickling as much as possible, the network is more devoted to the tickling community than to tickling itself. It's the same reason we even have a General Discussion forum.

There are currently eight regularly scheduled shows on the network, along with "special shows" like Robace's P&R show and the BDSM-themed show Yours Truly is currently working on...once a month shows to add to the topics provided. To be honest, there's only so much to talk about with tickling itself. If all the shows talked about nothing but tickling, the network would lose the interest of its audience very quickly.

I would suggest listening in to these shows before passing judgement. The topic of tickling tends to come up in one way or another on all of the shows, while some are more focused on it as a theme. Lee and Amanda's Forbidden Female Rituals has regular features and topics centered around tickling. Robace Radio has done a show live from a tickling video shoot. Mistress Aura and Crystallight's From Top to Bottom is heavily lifestyle-centered, and the as-yet-unnamed new show I'm working on will focus heavily on tickling in the BDSM world among other kinked topics.

There are other things to talk about as well. This topic was born out of a desire to continue what was started on Ray and Raya's show, Making Friends Online, human interest topics that are often difficult to talk about. Actually, we didn't even scratch the surface with this episode, but it was a start. Of course, it's not a topic that can be handled fully in 90 minutes, but the door needs to be opened before "changing the color of the sky".

When Ray decided to open the airwaves to the topic of sexual abuse, nobody went into it with the presumption that everything would be fixed. It was a start. And now, two months later, it proved to be the launching pad for a support group that will hopefully help to serve the members of the community. None of which would have happened if those shows were nothing more than hours of tickling talk.

As for our own show, Cindy and I are planning on a lot of tickling related topics as we refine our format. If you want to hear about tickling, tune in this week. We'll have one of the legendary art teams in the community on to discuss thier latest tickling comic release and delve deeply into the topics of tickling, art and fantasy.

The whole point of TMF Radio is to have something for everyone, not just everything for someone.

Actually scuentists can already DO both of those so maybe we will stick with more important topics, instead....🙂

The radio shows are hosted here on the forum as a service to the community. Something we have MTPJeff to thank for. We cover as many topics as we can because the community is made up of thousands of members with very diversified interests.

Like Dave said, many shows have something to do with tickling in some way. Others deal with issues that face us all in every day life and others do a lot to entertain and just have some fun with music or games. Every now and then special shows are run.

This way we do something for everyone instead of focusing on one area that we get a lot of right here at home on the forum.

So check out some of the shows in the thread archives and you may just find one that you really like, or feel free to make suggestions. There is a sticky thread in the radio discussion sub forum just for that purpose. We welcome input.

Many of our shows have been done because people have asked us to do them. That is what got Tracy and I into the more serious topics to begin with. We were asked. As part of this great community, we like to help in any way possible.

The show last night was very well done and even at 90 minutes, far too short. I hope that WCR will revisit the topic soon.
