Here is what I do. I don't have the "sexy massage parlour" type facilities in my town, other than a few prostitutes who seriously look like they've been on crack since they were 12 (and maybe they have!) so it's not really safe for a woman here to get that kind of treatment.
I would never ask a massage therapist to tickle, however I go to a spa where it's not such a clinical and prescribed treatment. That way you have a liiiittle bit of leeway to say "I just want a gentle massage" without them being suspicious or refusing. I tell them I am very sore and can't handle a lot of pressure. So they are quite light with their touch and I encourage them to keep it up by telling them that's the perfect amount of pressure. I then hold on...and do NOT laugh. Once you laugh they will stop, thinking it is unpleasant to tickle...and at that point no, I wouldn't go requesting it, although I have said "it's ok, you're doing fine" but I wouldn't push it. So basically I get tickles as long as I can hold it in and lay still. Better than nothing at all!
