Okay....I don't mean to be rude. I really don't. But 5 years?

If it took me more than 5 years to finish a game, regardless of devotion, I would seriously reconsider a new hobby. Or in that time frame, about 2,304 of them.

I mean hobbies = Money. Money = Time. 5 years on your first play through = Wasted money. Maybe you've been playing other games...hopefully.

Considering most consoles cost around 200-300 dollars new back in the day, that is pretty nice paperweight you've payed for. Though I could be wrong.

its not like it cost her by the month to own the game or the console. She'd already spent the money; she might as well have beaten the game. The reason it probably took her that long is because she isn't the type to shut the blinds and play for days on end until its beaten. its a game after all. You can save, turn it off, live your life, and come back to it. That tends to be the gist of casual gaming, after all. . . <_<

This reminds me of almost every resident evil title I played, I'd get to one point or another, get pissed off (usually at a puzzle) and leave it for a year, then come back in a year and figure the puzzle out with no problem and finish it up xD

Yeah I know 5 years is a long time but Relent is right, I went to live for a while before I came back to it.
And now I'm on the sequal, bring on the next 5 years :stickout

It took me 4 years to beat Final Fantasy 7. Mostly because of the F'ING TIMING PUZZLES (hates them precious...we hates them FOREVER!).
