Windows Media Player help!?

Every time I try to watch a vidclip I get the following:

Windows Media Player cannot play this file. Connect to the Internet or insert the removable media on which the file is located, and then try to play the file again.

Anybody know what this is and how I can FIX IT???? I'm missing PAGES of stuff!:sad:

Do you download the files to your computer first? Simply "streaming," i.e. left-clicking on a clip link and playing it without right-click saving it to your computer, does not usually work here.

No, I usually only get to check out the .WMV ones anyway, since I just recently got my own laptop back.

Does that no mean "I don't save them first" or "No, I do save them first?" If you don't save them first, you will need to.

I assume you have the latest, version 10, of windows media player, yes?
