wINDOWS XP Question

hI, i WAS WONDERING HOW TO RESOLVE THIS SMALL ISSUE.

mY FRIEND WAS WORKING ON A STORY AND THE COMPUTER WAS SLOWING TO A HALT.
sO, hE PUT IT ON SYSTEM RECOVERY BEFORE i HAD TIME TO ACT.
Once he did that, and it was done, I looked at my computer and found that my icons were huge, and one of my user s were gone. With all of my schoolwork and lots of other important things of mine.

I was wondering if anyone could help me to resolve this. Anyone?

Well, I don't really know what might have happened, but I'd recommend that the first thing you do is go to "C:\Documents and Settings" and check if the users were deleted from there as well(they should still be there though)

This is really odd, at least from the way you described it. How exactly did your friend put it on system recovery?

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention... cut off his hands so he can't fuck anything else up. He's probably one of those people who tries to use incorrect weight oil in his car because it's cheaper, smokes while pumping gas, and clips the ground plug off electrical cords thinking that it "helps protect from fires".
