WM 26: Undertaker or HBK? Who do you think will win?

Will it be Taker 18-0 or will Shawn Michaels finally end the streak?

Wrestlemania 26; March 28, 2010

Shawn Michaels vs Undertaker (Career vs Streak)

I'm going with Taker but I think the win will be clouded (ref knocked out and Shawn pins Taker - twice) or something like that. Then after it all blows over and Taker retires for years we will hear "Only one man has never been beaten at Wrestlemania". It will become as worn out as "The longest running episodic show in television history" (Geez how long will we have to hear that line?)

This leads to the question.. will HBK show up on TNA? Maybe a rematch with Flair?

I'll say Taker. Shawn can "retire" and then come back in a non-wrestling capacity (Raw GM?). If he truly wishes to climb back into the ring, there are storylines that can allow that to happen.

Taker will win...but since the wwe is PG don't expect anything all that intense to happen during the match

They will probably have a fairly decent match and then at the end of the match taker will raise shawns hand and the crowd will cheer and then the following night on raw, they will have a fair well to shawn night. Ill cry like a bitch.

im in the minority here and i think shawn will win the match, and then gloat on raw the next night. Something along the lines of i have done it all in this buisness and etc etc etc and then he will take his time off

I'm a fan of both Taker and HBK, so either way is fine with me. Only thing I will say is that both of these guys will be retiring. Theres rumors about mysterio and Batista retiring as well.

I have it on good authority that this is what going to happen.

When the match hits its zenith Hornswaggle will run to be ring distracting both HBK and Taker . Santino comes out of the crowd and suckerpunches both guys.

Hornswaggle picks up Undertaker and delivers a tombstone piledriver and Santino Superkicks HBK leaving them both in the ring . Santino and Hornswaggle form a new super-tagteam called '' The Italian Leprechauns '' and HBK and Undertaker form a team called '' Mr. Wrestlemanias. ''

This feud carries on the entire 2010 calendar year .

Though I have already predicted an Undertaker victory, I will say that I wouldn't be all that surprised to see Michaels go over. Taker has said, for a long time now, that he doesn't care about the streak. In fact, I seem to recall that WWE had considered booking Batista to end it a few years back, but ultimately decided against it. Whatever happens, these two should put on a very memorable match.

Taker, nobody is gonna touch that perfect 18-0 at WM

Excactly. People who think "retire" mean the same thing in and outside wrestling are basically marks.
:zombiecatcher:

Remember there is no disqualification in this match also.

Unless of course Shawn actually wants to retire, in witch case it wouldn't be a work but a fair well match. I would hope they wouldn't make the same mistake with Takers streak as they did with Flair at Mania a few years back. That was a great opportunity to give an up and comer a big push and they pissed it all away on a (beyond) established performer.

You don't know how it would've played out if it were someone else. And there are many ways to elevate talent. Beating a 60-year-old isn't one of them.

You can't automatically assume that beating Flair would've skyrocketed someone to a different level. It takes more than that.

They're making an effort to make more stars.

It was presumably Flair's final WM match and he had it with Mr. WrestleMania.

OK, let me lay out this idea and you tell me if it there is no way it could work. If I remember correctly Flair and MVP had beaten each other once on TV or at PPV's. Now going into Mania Flair had some stipulation that said if he lost a match he had to retire. Not a bad angle, and a good way to build his match at WrestleMania. Now with things left unfinished between Flair and MVP, and the big match coming up at mania it only makes sense to put these two together (at least to me) so you put a title (US or IC) on Flair, then have a 4-8 man tournament to determine who will face the champion for the title at mania. MVP wins, and faces Flair for the belt (lets say it's the IC title).

Mania comes, MVP beats Flair, takes his belt and walks out of the ring. Doesn't shake his hand, doesn't care about Flair or his legacy. Just walks out and leaves Flair alone in the ring. This of course gives Ric his moment with the fan's who give him a standing O. The next day the boys come out and pay their respects to the Nature Boy... except MVP. By the end of RAW MVP is shown leaving the arena with his belt and gym bag. When he is asked why he didn't come out and compliment Ric or thank him for a great WrestleMania moment MVP trashes him into the ground, thus opening the flood gates for him to feud with just about everybody from Hurricane to HHH on the roaster, and even open the door for Flair to have come back to the ring. Unfortunately Vince had no intentions of letting Flair wrestle on his show, ever again, and a great chance to promote somebody new was waisted on HBK who didn't need it.

If Flair chose Shawn then it proves what I've always believed. That "The Nature Boy" only cares about "The Nature Boy", and not helping to build people, only to keep himself strong.

Now that I think about it, if Shawn is planning to retire lagit after this match, why isn't he trying to help build somebody on the way out?
