wmv? php?

Hi.

I don't know if this is because I got an upgrade to Windows 8.1, but when I used to download .wmv files, there was never a problem. Now, when I right-click to save, it comes up as a php, whatever that is. Am I doing anything wrong?

If you're on IE 11, you have to add the TMF to the compatibility view list:

Tools->Compatibility View Settings->Add This Website: Ticklingforum.com (click ADD)

This once was a problem in Firefox. It would download files from the TMF but would not properly rename the files, so they ended up as "attachment.php". What browser are you using? What version? You may wish to try another browser and see if that fixes it.

The alternative is to rename the PHP files to the correct name and file extension, but that will get annoying very quickly.

Is this a recent thing? It worked perfectly last week.

Microsoft released IE11 as an automatic update last week. As soon as the update was finished, I noticed problems here and on other sites. In all cases, adding the sites to the Compatibility View list solved the problem.
