While I would never buy something out of a guy's trunk I do feel for this girl in a way. No one likes to be tricked like that. And is it bad I found it hilarious and cliche that the sketchy, sleazy guy selling her shit out of his trunk had a gold tooth? Like Peter Griffin once said "We should totally trust this guy, he is chewing on a toothpick and flipping a coin."

I remember long ago when the Travel channel was still around and they were showing scams in las vegas. One scam was basically the same thing, they show off a nice camera and give the person a box with a heavy metal weight inside. I forget the details, people didn't bother to look because the object was heavy and wanted to wait until they got home or the guy sold 1 claiming the store he bought it from wouldn't give him a refund and walked away as soon as he made the transaction. Pretty funny though.

They would've opened that box in front of me before I gave them a dime!

Besides something just doesn't smell right from the begining just walk away. People's greatest weakness is that need to get something for nothing. Con artists burn you every time preying on your greed.

Feel badly for the woman though....expensive lesson learned.
