Why is it you women can wear a 4" high spike boot but a 2" pump is out of the question. I was just wondering why you like the boots so much

IMHO, it's because you get better ankle support from a boot, thus making it easier to totter around in an unnatural position. But then, I'm a boot girl!

Interesting. I didn't know that boots are safer to wear and walk around in than pumps, even if their heels are longer. Of course, I prefer women to go barefoot. :devil:
 
I can NOT and do not wear pumps...ever. Not unless I have a desire to walk on crutches for the next 6 weeks. Interesting, too, since I was a very avid and skilled roller skater and ice skater when I was younger. My ankles protest over anything higher than 1 1/2 inches now, though.

Boots are another subject. I have a pair of black thigh highs with a 3 inch heel that are 2 - DIE - 4.

Plus, my feet are faaaaaaaaaar more ticklish coming fresh, warm, and soft out of a pair of nice boots. 😀

Good point! Warm, soft feet straight out of boots are soooo ticklish. And bonus since I'm a foot snob (I won't let people touch my feet if they are dirty) my feet don't get smelly ever.
 
I myself will wear anykind of pump or boot.....I have a bit of a shoe shopping addiction :xlime:
My most recent pair of pumps/stilletos....4 inch leopard/jewled studded stilletos.....gorgeous! I'm now on a mission for a nice pair of high heeled boots, the ones I have are getting old.
I do agree though, boots do give your ankles more support.
 
Sorry.....I won't wear 'em. Heels, boots, stillettos....nope....just not me :jester:
