I lived in Michigan for a few years. I don't feel like going up to New England in December only to get stuck in a blizzard for a month... Around here, you're pretty much assured of that never happening.

Wow; the thought of attending a party and being physically surrounded by the likes of you guys literally makes me squirm. I'm not sure I could make myself do it.

But maybe the warm camaraderie of a New Year's party would inspire gentle mercy in the crowd at large...

Actually it's in New York. Not too far upstate at all. Roughly 30ish minutes from Manhattan, give or take an ish.
Doubtful you will get caught up in a snowbound type blizzard.

Last year at NYE1, it was Nesss' first gathering I believe and she was as quiet as a mouse for about the first hour or so. Very shy. HOWever, once festivities got under way, she was one of the first two gals who took center stage to be tied and tickled and afterwards, she turned into one evile tickler. Miss quiet and shy was gone for the weekend.
We have a tendency of bringing folks out of that shell. You just can't help yourself after being around us for a short while. We rub off on folks and quickly too. That is how Hyenas Club gatherings go. That's how we are.
You will be too.

Hmmf... I have a lot of difficulties in getting anywhere, as well. -.- First I need to see when my friends are expecting me to visit over Winter Break... and then I have to figure out some way to put this over on my parents. (Yes, I AM going to be 20 when this occurs, but I'm a college student, and the dorms close for the holidays. I'm going to be living at home still, and I possess no car.) And yeah... >.>;; I tend to be extremely people-shy. (Perhaps a mild case of social anxiety disorder.) I'd like to go, at least in theory, but whether or not I can make it is another story, unfortunately. x.x

See, as some people here will attest to, I do my utmost to promote this kind of thinking and attitude in the girls that I speak with... my current plan is to land myself in so much trouble (the good kind of course) that no matter where I end up going, there'll be someone nearby just dying to make me live up to all the things that I say... >.>
