Hey everyone, I've been absent as of late, I try to read the forums from time to time anyway. I was watching tv tonight and came across a supermodel lying in a bed of yellow flowers, so I decided to watch for a moment. She was doing a voice over about that experience, the shoot and such; she mentioned the flowers were tickling her, not only that but because the aroma was so pleasant, she enjoyed it. Looks like Da Vinci was right. I'm a big follower of Leonardo, fancinating fellow.

Watching a beautiful lady rolling around in her ticklish bed of flowers and talking about how she enjoyed it reminded me of everyone here so I thought I'd stop to say hello and bid my best of wishes. I've been in and out of jobs, learning Wonderful Tonight by Eric Clapton on guitar, beating my old minesweeper score. Nothing to exciting, but plan on changing that soon enough. Take it easy everyone.

I'm assuming that was on Spike's swimsuit special? We caught the end of it after watching a tape. There was also a segment on the body painting shots they did. One of the gals admitted openly that she was very ticklish. A few of them were cringing and giggling while being painted. That artist has a real gift for making things look real!

Best Wishes to you, too, Swimmingbird! Hope your `05 goes great. Don't be such a stranger! 🙂

Yeah, I don't know why I let life's little problems get in my way of posting here. Especially since I never really let life's little problems get me down. Thanks for the link Featherfingers, I haven't really played for a few years, wanted to pick it up again, no time like the present. After I soothe out a few kinks in Wonderful Tonight, I want to learn to play The Weight by the Byrds.

Glad to be of help, Swimmingbird. By the way, if "The Weight" you're referring to is the song I'm thinking of, it's by The Band, not The Byrds. Great song, nevertheless.

Arg, how embarrassing, I was listening to the Byrds a lot yesterday. I'd also like to learn Ballad of the Easy Rider, been looking for the soundtrack. I have the record, but not the player. The fates can be cruel. Although, it's probably not too hard to find a record player, since there are scratch artists and what not. It's funny that I have to type this stuff out to think about it.

Here you go, Swimmingbird! Here's the lyrics for that song but the CD version of that album is available, unless you're a die-hard vinyl LP fan. I love the Byrds! Here you go:

The Byrds - Ballad Of Easy Rider

The river flows, it flows to the sea
Wherever that river goes that's where I want to be
Flow river flow, let your waters wash down
Take me from this road to some other town
All he wanted was to be free
And that's the way it turned out to be
Flow river flow, let your waters wash down
Take me from this road to some other town
BRIDGE:
Flow river flow, past the shady trees
Go river go, go to the sea
Flow to the sea
The river flows, it flows to the sea
Wherever it goes that's where I want to be
Flow river flow, let your waters wash down
Take me from this road to some other town

I actually do prefer vinyl, I just always liked the pops and cracks for some reason. I don't hate my generation's music, but I much prefer classic rock, blues, and jazz. The soul of music never dies, but right now it seems to be taking a snooze, at least, seems that way to me.

I'm such a Classic Rock freak... I still remember where the pops and cracks are from my old albums...even as I listen to the CD version.

Thanks to you, I'm going to play my Byrds CD box set as I go out driving today.

There's good music out there today... it just doesn't get as much publicity unless the singer is wearing barely there clothing or looks like a model. The classics have stood the test of time... it'll be funny to see what songs from today still endure ten years from today.
