Woodstock ran from August 15 through 18, 1969. On The History Channel tonight will be broadcasting a show called "The Sixties".

I did not attend Woodstock because I was taking a summer school class at night that summer as well as working forty hours a week to save up money for the next academic year.

Some of my friends did attend, and brought back mixed reviews (great music, too much LSD and too many crazy people).

I was in the process of getting discharged from the USAF and traveling home when this occurred. I did see the movie Woodstock later.
