I noticed this "news" report here

http://www.qatarliving.com/node/1925013

It's about a tickling spa in Qatar. I don't know if it's real or not. I thought I'd post the link and the short description from the page for others to see and judge.

I don't know if anyone can verify if it's real or not, if anyone on this forum lives in Qatar. The description doesn't give any address or contact info.

Much like at any other day spa, the treatment takes place in a darkened room, with soothing music playing and a hint of incense tingeing the air. The client disrobes, puts on a pair of crinkly paper panties and lies facedown on the table. And then the tickling — first with fingertips drawn along the body, then a feather — begins. A 30-minute session costs €25 ($35); for an hour, the price is €45 ($60).

"We use a variety of strokes," explains therapist Lourdes Nieto. "If someone is super-ticklish, we'll press harder. The idea is to relax them, not stress them out."

No, it isn't true. A place as goofy sounding as 'Qatar' has to be fake.

HA! Kidding! But really, I think this is older news and yeah, it is for real. Time magazine did a piece on it and there are other publications on the web. And I think Qatar is in Spain. But there used to be a thread floating around this forum somewhere. But yeah, it is real.

If you read the article, it just looks like a person in Qatar (yes, in the Middle East) was just inquiring as to whether there was a market for it there, but they are referring to the one in Spain.
