Would ya ??????

Okay. While I still insist that in an "objective" sense the act is "what it is" regardless of the motive or "feeling" involved for the "doer", I won't argue how you felt/feel about it, since obviously no one would know that better than yourself.

Otherwise, without going into detail here, I'll confess to having done "worse" things than that being discussed here when I was a kid, but fortunately outgrew such compulsions by the time I was old enough to possibly get into more serious trouble for them.

You're right--it is what it is, and it's really not that big a deal. For myself, however, I set more stringent guidelines mostly because I'm dealing with issues from sexual abuse and because of that, I'm extra careful about crossing that line. But that's just me, and I don't look down on anybody that doesn't follow the same strict standards.

If a perfect stranger was sleeping with their barefeet hanging out and I could GUARANTEE the person you tickle would not get mad and also GUARANTEE you would not get in ANY trouble,

would you tickle their feet ?

would you smell their feet ?

The problem with this scenario is that it's contradictive.
If the person was a perfect stranger, how could you GUARANTEE anything??
This is the part that would creep most people (including myself) out.
Playing with strangers, especially in a seemingly non-consensual way such as them being asleep, is a HUGE turn off to most people. :sowrong:

I'm rather pleased that most people would opt not to. It's not about getting in trouble or not, it's about the moral status of the individuals. The only way you can find out where someone really stands is to strip away repercussions.

id give em a light stroke across the feet just to get a reaction and start a conversation, about something totally different

worst case scenario is shed be pissed and end the interaction right there....
best case is the conversation would turn back to the tickle or she would put herself in a position to be tickled again

I think there are others who would also. Once again, in this scanerio, I GUARANTEE he/she would love it.

You know, totally hypothetical, unreal scenarios are not fun to talk about! 🙂 Because there is just ONE damn answer to it! 🙂

I would be lying if I say no as this situation has occurred and I did tickle the unsuspecting girls foot. It didn’t end badly or I didn’t go to jail and I didn’t get put up for sexual assault which for some strange reason some people in this thread think might happen.
But anyways the funniest thing about the whole situation is that we became friends not from that incident but from other occasion were we properly met (as she was friends with some of my friends) and she would remember me as the guy that tickled her foot and she never had any animosity or hatred toward me.
Hope this doesn’t offend anybody but just had to put what has happened to me and the positive it can come from this situation.

No way. First off, it's just wrong. It's a violation of their space which nobody has a right to do. Second, even if that weren't true, tickling is about the interaction for me. So, there wouldn't be any joy in it anyway if it happened that way.
