Would you get rid of your fetish?

I'm going to stick with...no. What it comes down to is tickling is fun, it adds flavor to life. Unless it's ruining your life (somehow) then why get rid of an interest in it?
 
The term fetish isn't the best term and is pretty over used for the most part. Even a foot fetish isn't so much a fetish as it is a particularism. A lot of self-described foot fetishists have "regular" sex, so that would put them in with the ass, boobs and legs crowd. Also, terms like paraphilia and fetish are used by the DSM to describe the presence of a mental disorder and the DSM-IV and DSM-IV TR have made it clear that simply abnormal behavior is not a sufficient reason to give someone a DSM label like "fetish" or "paraphilia".1 But, anyway, go read a book about the controversies surrounding the DSM and its verbiage because there's no way I'm listing all the issues associated with it. That's just way too much shit to type out. lol.

Anyway, off my soap box. No, I wouldn't get rid of it. Why would I get rid of a sexual activity I like?

I can think of evolutionary biology reasons why men would enjoy a shapely pair of feet, too. Good bone structure means healthier mate, that kind of thing...

Actually, its just biological instead of evolutionary. The area of the brain which is used for sexual arousal is intertwined with the area of the brain which "knows" feet. In fact, most of my previous girlfriends had a thing for feet too. They didn't like sucking on toes or anything like that (neither do I) but we still found feet to be one of the more arousing parts of the body. Three of them actually told me they've given/received footjobs as well. I didn't even know women could get footjobs until the first girl told me. lol.

I think women are foot fetishists without knowing it. We spending so much time in the nail salons getting our feet exfoliated, rubbed, toe nails clipped, filed and prettily painted. If we didn't love our feet, I don't think we'd go through all the trouble and money to keep them so nice.

I always loved guys that had a foot fetish. I remember I asked my boyfriend when I was 17 to suck on my toes... thankfully enough he didn't give me a weird look or anything, but happily went on and did it. 🙂
 
Though it made it hard to tell my fiancee of my fetish after I found she was excepting of it I grew quite happy with it and cant ever think of my life without it. It has made me, well me.
 
Never. I couldn't imagine myself going through life without a profound love and attraction for feet and tickling. Besides, I don't think I'd be right in the head without it!

Nah, I like it. If I didn't have this kink I'd have another one. I haven't told the gf yet, but I think it will be much easier to accept compared to about 4,000 others I could have. At least I don't want to poo on her while tied upside down in the shower rubbing stuffed animals.

It has presented a lot of problems for me. Most people that I have met,
especially girlfriends simply think tickling and the love of it is weird.

I usually resort to paying women to tickle them. I do not tell most people
about it at all.

To further add to the problem...I have lost much of my sense of being ticklish.

I have too much resistance. The result is no more uncontrollable laughter.

I have tried hypnosis with no results.

The fetish is great but not everyone is open to try to understand it.

That's an interesting question! I think I might if I could in exchange get the same thrill from "normal" sex instead. It would be easier...
 
I would not get rid of my fetish. Like many have stated before me, it is part of who I am. I find it interesting, and can spice up your life. Tickling ftw! :boogie:

I don't think I would get rid of my tickling/foot fetish if I had the chance honestly. I don't brag about it, I'm very secretive about it. But in my own mind it makes me feel a little different then everyone else in a sexual sense which can be good and bad I guess. Haha. But no I wouldn't get rid of it if I had the chance.


Also it's way easier to get a view of a girls feet then it is her boobs. Not saying I don't like breasts obviously, it's just good to have an alternative to the usually hidden parts.
 
Hellz no. This is an interest that keeps me psychologically awake and is a huge part of my fantasies and desires. Why get rid of that and ruin the fun? D:
 
No I wouldn't change the part of me that likes tickling, after all I see nothing wrong with it so why change it! Besides it makes me who I am and I'm a good hearted person! 🙂
 
No I wouldn't, I actualy prefer tickling (and plenty of other things) to sex, thats who I am and I wouldn't change it for anything.
 
I don't see the point in getting rid of it. It's one way of touching women that gives me pleasure, and it would only be replaced by another. It's just a means to an end, that being to give me pleasure.
 
No I would just get rid of all the other people in the world, who don't have it. That way we would all find it easier to meet up with willing partners, and the planet wouldn't be heading towards environmental armageddon :swayparrot: (getting a plumber out could be a long wait though).

Whenever women have tickled me it enhanced the personal between me and her. So i wouldn't want to get rid of this fetish. i'd keep it forever and savor the turn-on.
