First off, lemme apologize for practically never posting. That said, I have been happily tickling my wife for all of our 23 years of marriage. For awhile now my wife has been suggesting that I take her to the "next level" of tickling. By this she means surrendering to complete tickle torture. I've come close a few times while she's been tied up but not quite made it.
Anyway, ever since I first saw that electric flosser being used in TIB's clips, I've hunted vainly for one till yesterday. Finally found it at the local CVS so I just had to get it! Well, I tried on her for a few moments lastnite and I can say that it works perfectly! She had no idea that I had gotten it till I pinned her right foot and fired it up She went nuts the second it touched skin! Afterwards she told me that with any other technique she can usually concentrate on something else to at least lessen the sensation for a bit but not with that thing. So one night soon we plan to burn up some batteries and take her to that new level with this great toy! I can't wait and I promise to tell how it goes. Thanks to everyone for such a great site and especially to TIB for discovering such a great gadget!!!!

2) You're the first person to admit openly that I indeed DID discover and was the FIRST to use that tickle tool. I appreciate you saying so. Other current users of it give no credit to who they copied when they use it in their videos now. 😉

I'm not taking anything away from you, TIB, but I'm not sure what you expect. Perhaps a line in the credits saying "Use of the electric flosser copied from the Tickler in Black?" I suppose if they were consistent about that they'd have to add a credit for everyone who ever gave them a bondage lesson, and throw in a nod to John Willie for popularizing kink in the US.

Do you credit everyone you learned from in your films?

No, not at all. No line of credits naming me wanted. I certainly don't expect that.

I guess what I would hope for is just some producer to producer respect against stealing EXACTLY specific ideas, props, bondage equipment, etc.

I guess what I'd hope for is for someone to say to themselves:

"Wow that's really cool what he did but I really shouldn't copy that exact thing because that was his personal "invention" that he thought it up. I'd feel like a free-loader if I did that just cuz I saw him do it. I really shouldn't use the exact same tickling tool, vibrator brand, black outfit with black mask because I'm really not putting my own thoughts into this then, I'm just copying someone straight up. I really should try to come up with my own ideas so I don't look foolish. I would feel embarassed for taking the easy road and acting as if I've actually created something myself. I probably shouldn't put three !!! at the end of every one of my posts either, as if I've done something incredible that no one has ever seen, because I'm really just copying another producer's set, tickle tools, format and bondage equipment style."

That's all I could really hope for Redmage. Just to have others come up with some of their own ideas, some of their own concepts. Not just duplicate other's hard work and innovation.

Do I think I invented tickling? No way.
Do I think I invented the concept of tied and tickled? No way.
Did I even invent siran wrap? No, a plastic company did.
Did I invent using something other than fingers to tickle feet? Again, No.

These are all very general things that no one can claim they "invented" or came up with. Hell, people were probably tying and tickling each other back in Egypt in the time of the Pharoahs. So in no way do I feel I could say something as ridiculous as "I video taped girls being tickled so don't copy me." Saying that would be stupid because that's too vague, to general, to broad of a brush stroke.

But things like a one of a kind specific tickling tool? (like the vibrating dental device in question)
A new and inventive bondage piece? (like our tickle board with velcroe restraints run through slots in the wood. do you have ANY idea how many of those exact boards "appeared" in other tickling videos just a month or two after we debuted ours?)
Having a guy tickler wear all black clothing with a black mask? (like i did way back in 1998)

etc, etc.... I could go on and on with the copying of specific ideas and "things" but what the heck, will it really make a difference?

It's actually a battery-powered electric flosser, available at most local drugstores for not very much money. The "hummingbird's beak" is a flexible plastic filament, and when the unit is turned on it vibrates at a high rate of speed. It's most often effective on the feet, but I've also used it on the palms and fingers.

TIB correctly notes that he was the first to use one of these in a commercial tickling video (at least, I can't recall seeing one before he came up with it a couple of years ago). Since then they've spread to many ticklers' arsenals.
