I think this could be a huge turnout for WWE...if they play the cards right...I am also happy to see Shawn Michaels back in the game...now, lets see HBK and Big Poppa Pump go at it!!

Wow, Michaels is back.

I haven't watched wresting since 98, but I loved Michaels. I have a plaque from when he won the hour long "Iron Man Match" against Bret the Hitman Hart in 1996 Wrestlemania XII!

If Scott Steiner can stay off the injured list, he'll do fine in the WWE. He has a past foot injury. His "Big Poppa Pump" character can be kinda annoying, but seeing how the WWE gave Booker T a personality(something WCW was unable to do), Scott S. just might become a top player again. I was a big fan in his pre-"poppa pump", WWF tag team days with his brother Rick Steiner.

Drew😉

Oh joy, another juiced-up, immobile, injury-prone lump with an attitude problem. Just what we need. Pray he doesn't bring his useless brother with him.

As you may gather, I'm not much of a fan of Steiner, either as a wrestler or as a human being. He's a walking example of why steroids are bad for you. Back in his pre-needle days, he was one of the best, almost comparable to Kurt Angle today -- and then he decided to turn himself into the overmuscled cartoon he is now, sacrificing all his flexibility and agility for bulk.

I expect he'll perform the same as Nash, Hall, and Hogan did earlier this year -- a brief surge for about a month, and then everyone realizes he still sucks and loses interest.

As for HBK -- while I admit his match with Triple H at Summerslam was great, and the Elimination Chamber will probably be good (and I've got a ticket for Survivor Series, yay), it's still a little annoying to watch him hog the spotlight on Raw while guys who can work more than one match every couple months -- like Booker T, RVD, or Kane -- don't get half his push.

Tho I won't use the teeth Shem used, I'm forced to agree about Steiner...at least about staying for a month or so for one last hurrah before retirement. The guy's had SO many injuries the past ten years, and most of them are due to body-building rather than wrestling (Torn bicep, multiple back problems, etc. That's why I stopped body-building many moons ago!). He HAS overdone the bulk thing. He can't even fall down convincingly without hurting himself. And let's remember his age factors into this; he's over 40. It's time, sadly, for him to lay off. Unlike Shem, I am a Steiner fan. I read that book Goldberg put out a couple of years ago (Even if I can't recall the title!), and he said both those Steiner boys are some of the most polite, congenial men he's known, and he added, "And it's a good thing, too!" Scott Hall, on the other hand, recieved NO complimentary remarks from Mr. Goldberg, but that's for another thread.

Shawn Micheals is done. He shouldn't even be in the ring now. He was an "Electrifying" performer in days past, but he overdid it. He's too crippled up to be half the wrestler he was. It's too bad, really, 'cuz his day was all too short, and he's still got alot of fire in him that his body can no longer back up (I know the feeling! lol). If he continues to try, he and Mick Foley can probably host Robot Wars together.

If these two go at it, and put the gusto they want to into the match, even if the Nitro Girls make an impromptu appearance, a Benoit/Mysterio match will still highlight the evening. And Steiner and Micheals will both be on the disabled list.

Used to be a pretty big wrestling fan but have gotten away from it. had a friend who was a huge fan (folowed the rumor boards, attendned live events, autograph sessions, etc). According to him, Scott Steiner was bad bad news with serious 'roid rage problems. Purportedly, he was reall grabby with the women and injured a couple of the wanna-be's who hang around wrestling as security.

On the wrestling topic, anyone else remember Maximillian Schell's haughty terribly European indictment of American culture from the Woody Allen movie (I think "Hannah and her Sisters")? He ends his little diatribe against American culture with the phrase, "Can you imagine the mind that watches wrestling?"

Greatest match ever. Hands down!:wow: :wow:

Although Professional Wrestling has brought joy to millions around the globe it has worn itself thin over the last few years. Its become too commercialize and about money. I use to enjoy watching matches on TV but I can't bear to see what wrestling has degraded itself into. By the way, Krokus, "love the dancing Spiderman"!

Sadly your right, thats why I dont watch it anymore...🙁 🙁

Big Poppa Pump

I think brining in Scotty is a great idea. He was suposed to tour with the WWA but they traded the God Father and one other Wrestler to get Steiner's contract. So I beleave that the Big Bad Booty Daddy, will be Jaw Droppin' Heart Stoppin' & Cherry Poppin'on RAW. He only has to wrestle 14 times/month because of his back problems, but I'll bet he'll kick HHH's ass soon enough. So to all those freaks out there...wisper something nice and he'll make you scream twice. BIG POPPA PUMP IS YOU'RE HOOK-UP, HALlOUR IF YOU HEAR ME !!!

Not Brett VS Shawn

Brett Hart Vs Shawn Micheals was to long, and ended badly. The reff gave Brett the belt, said your still the champ and sent him on his way. Then (the late) Gorilla Monsoon said the match had to continue. What happened to "No one can reverse the reffery's decition". Anyway the BEST match was Brett Hart Vs Owen Hart, or maybe Ricky Steamboat Vs Randy Savage (WrestleMania 3). Savage/Steamboat was one of the best stories the WWF/WWE ever put out.

Amen to that!

Lots of Good ones.

Of course when ever you involve guys like Randy Savage, Ric Flair Ricky Steamboat, Curt Hennig and Brett or Owen Hart, you could bank it was going to be a pretty solid showing in the ring. Alot of times the big guys just don't seem to put the moves together as well.
