Dear 10 year old me,

If there's anything you'd like to hear from your 25 year old self, write it down, and save it for 15 years. Drawing a serious blank, here. Your future self doesn't spend much time thinking about what you should do differently. It'll never be nearly as important as what he's going to do next. Keep that in mind, and...ah hell, I know you will. ...you know what? May as well make the most of this, while I'm at it. Attached is a list of the winning lottery numbers, every week, from 1993 to 2008. Use it sparingly so as to avoid suspicion.

I couldn't agree more. It's an indirect look at each other's past and a look at some of the things that helped shape us.

For instance, I never knew Gin was one of those hot nerdy girls as well as a perv. 😀

I wasn't hot. I was seriously just the ugly nerdy girl. It really helped me in some ways...it helped develop my personality. I wasn't so focused on trying to maintain my beauty. I had to be super awesome or I would just suck all over. But it also really fucked me in some ways. I still have self-confidence and self-esteem issues...and when I finally did go from ugly duckling to a swan, I really abused that power...and got sexually abused a couple of times in the process.

I came out better for it, I suppose.



Jo...I really loved your letter. I wish I was as brave to post some of those things. "Bad things and mistakes" is as far as I got. ;P But I'm really proud of you baby girl. I wish you could have sent yourself that letter. But the bad times really do make you strong. And you're one of the strongest, most incredible people I've ever known. *hugs*
