Update: I'm close to wrapping up the final chapter, and have started messing around with possible cover images. Right now, I'm thinking of an image something like the one below. Would love to hear any feedback on it.

Ah, an intresting and rather tragic time in Russian history. The end of a three hundred year old dynasty was at hand. I think that's a great image for a dust jacket, and I want to read your book, Dr. Oh, the gentleman on the left looks familiar but I can't quite place him.

How long have you been working on it? I know research for a non-fiction can take some time.

I've been working on it for around a year, and I can say the research has been kind of fun. A lot of it has been online, since I don't live near any big libraries; I've been amazed at the amount of useful resources that are out there.

For lovers of history like me, the Internet has become an indispensable tool, although if I want to research something in depth I start looking for books. I find reading long pieces online tedious.

Oh, when your book is published I'll be looking for my autographed copy to arrive in the mail. 😛

Well, it's finally finished. I put the last touches - adding some photos & captions - to the book last night. Now to get in touch with some publishing types (I've already contacted a couple, actually, and am waiting for responses) and take care of the copyright.

So what's it about? Without getting into too much detail, it's set in the period of World War I.
