On a D&D forum I'm a member of I posted that picture of me some of you might remember in the Hulk costume? Well next day I have a PM waiting for me from the Admin wondering why I had so many pictures of barefoot women. 😱 😱 :wow:

Apparently he could access my Boomspeed account from the picture's URL and backtracked to see my whole directory.

Anyway, misunderstanding cleared up, he asked me if this... http://www.greenguyandjim.com/board/index.php was the forum I was an Admin of (I'd mentioned I Admin'd a community elsewhere, but hadn't mentioned any details). With my screen name being BigJim there as well and my Yahoo ID being thegreenguyuk (because of the Hulk thing) he thought this was my forum. :blaugh: Apparently "the green guy" also has some sort of connotation for web porn.

Learn something new every day, don't you?

LOL Sometimes folks forget (or simply never realized) how easy it is to backtrack on things like that and find more stuff. That's one reason for them to use different handles and registration e-mails when joining different types of groups. Unless, of course, you're like me and just dont' care who knows.

Oh I pretty much don't care either, but the D&D forum has loads of members who are minors so it ain't a good idea to leave trails to anything adult.

All a learning experience, innit? lol There is so much I just don't know abolut computers and the web.

How do people track this information so easily?

If you knw how to follow a link and can recognize certain things about web addresses (Not to mention have access to a set of obscure tools), you can find nearly any hidden file.

Not difficult. All he did was click on "edit" I imagine and look at the photo's URL. All he had to do was subtract the file extension and he had the URL of my directory. I thought you had to log in to see it, but you only have to do that to edit it.

Lol, yeah, and the really funny thing now is that a group of your friendly neighborhood idiots are going to go to that url above, and then come back and ask "Where are the tickling pics????"
