I'll pass on any new console until I see how well it performs and what level of quality support it gets. I learned my lesson back in '93. I had bought an enhanced, rereleased system back then not only because of it's abilities but, to play CD games as well as carts. Soon after, software support was dropped. Unless you've had one of the systems that didn't make it, you wont understand what I'm talking about but, getting a console as soon as it comes out is usually a bad idea and the first wave often does have bugs and design flaws. I'm a fan of almost all systems but, if I had to choose a best one for every era, it would be the one that had the most success. A lot of newcomers and youngsters don't get that it's the games that will make or break a system just like me and my friends didn't get it back when we were arguing over bits, sprite sizes and scaling & rotation. The Dreamcast came out first too but, look what happened to it. It's still a great system but, Sega let it slip away. The same has happened to other systems too. I'm not predicting failure for the 360. I'm just saying that it's better to be patient and wait to see how it does.
