Yahoo IM?

Anyone use yahoo IM anymore? Seems like back in the day that was a fairly popular means of communication. These days, not so much. Is it just something whose time has passed?

i kept using it until last year when it stopped being supported by OSX Yosemite. I only used it to chat and stay in touch with people i added over 15 years of using it... and to block and reject the 100s of spam bots that added me randomly...

I was using it up until a few years ago when they 'upgraded' their software. Couldn't get online with it anymore without it telling me I have either the wrong ID or password, and their tech support couldn't help me out either. I could still access the e-mail, but all of that seemed frozen and once again their tech support couldn't help me either. I just had to abandon it like they abandoned me.

Whats KIK?

KIK is an IM/Messenger application similar to Yahoo Messenger, AIM, and ICQ. However I suspect it is strictly for smartphones, not desktop computers.

On my phone, I use WhatsApp.
