I received an email from an army specialist who is doing a 15 month tour in Afghanistan. He told me that he was a great fan of my work and also said that morale was low. I really do appreciate it from the bottom of my heart. I never was particularly close to my family and joining the Army only severed the ties that died out long ago. And while I do have many good friends, they are also all in the Army, so I don't really hear or get any kudos for what I do. And even though I don't go around asking for gratitude, when I hear it and see it from someone, it matters. So once again, I thank you both for making the video, as well as making me feel like I matter somewhere.
