To me, it is pretty obvious that Yenny is a fetish comic, even without the tickling. Because tickling is not the fetish in question: the fetish is for giant feet. There is indeed a niche audience from this, who will look at anything from the barefoot giantess of Fem Force to ... whatever else is out there, such as 30's cartoons of Little Red Riding Hood. So I think we have Rivers and Oman and a few others here who really like big bare feet.

Now, look carefully at the feet of Wilma Flinstone and Betty Rubble, two barefoot female icons that 99% of the planet has seen and accepts as standard and mainstream.

They are exactly the same size feet as you have in the present day in barefoot cartoon girls from "Enchanted" to "Tangled."

So Yenny will always be a fetish comic. Not a tickling fetish perhaps, but some variant of foot fetish. Hence the lack of funding, acceptance and success.

Actually the more I read about Yenny going mainstream, the more I wonder what will Dave make. It was ok as a tickling comic, but lets face it. Fetish comics have no plot! Oh no did I just say that?

Well its true, we basically have introduction, tying, tickling, and epilogue where our damsel runs away either into freedom to be tickled in next comic or ends up in next trap.

What I find interesting is that nobody here knows Yenny too much. We can all say she is fetish model, and so on, but plot wise we didn't learn too much. I would like to support creator on creating an cartoon and going mainstream, just for sake of curiosity. Also I can bet Yenny would be better cartoon than some are on air... for the love of peach, I've been watching European cartoon network few times and I literally felt my intelligence dropping below possible scale. No graphic, no real plot, not even a funny joke or two.

Un momento. Here's a quick thought. This thread perhaps should be moved to general discussion. It might get seen more there, and it's taken the interesting turn of pointing out how a Yenny cartoon wouldn't include any fetish content.

Of course, all that said, I have to wish Signor Alvarez all the luck in the world! I for one know how excruciatingly difficult it is to distance oneself as an artist from fetish material. There's no real future in it, and that's what a creator wants for his or her creations. I'd love for there to be Yenny for years to come and to see her be successful. It'd be one hell of an inspiration for us other artists.
