You have to include "Who's Next" asone of the ultimate classic albums. Not a single bad song on that album. The YES albums mentioned are good ones as well.

I just went thru the Rick Wakeman solo catalog on Barnes and Noble. He has a cd called..........."HUMMINGBIRD"!!!!!!!!

I just don't know what to say???

Giantfan, I guess you really know your "prog-rock". Anyone who's familiar with "Topographic Oceans" obviously knows their way around.

No, there wasn't a rotating stage, but Yes DID do "Ritual" from "Topograhic".

I never delved too deep into prog-rock other than Yes, ELP, and the 1st King Crimson, but I did discover the Atomic Rooster a few years ago. They started with Carl Palmer on drums before ELP, did a couple of heavy-duty albums before wimping out by "73" "74".
Their self-titled debut was their best.
