Yes, there was a blizzard in 1957 in New Jersey when we were snowed in for three days until the snowplows came through.

Yes one time I was driving home after midnight and my eyes started closing while I was on the parkway...I never again drove when I was that tired.

Hitting (in baseball). I was hopelessly bad as a kid and stopped playing by age 12.

Yes. In my childhood I watched "The $64,000 Question" regularly. Back in the 1950's, $64,000 was thought to be a fortune, and you could buy a new Cadillac for $5,000.
