For quite awhile now, I had been wondering if it would be possible to somehow derive a method by which someone’s ticklishness could be assigned some sort of numeric value. After giving this some thought, my demented mind and diseased imagination joined forces to produce a theory, the first phase of which is now, at long last, ready to be field tested. And where better to publish preliminary data than right here at the TMF? And where better to further my research than the renowned Dominion?
I had originally planned to see the three celebrities, Soma (of the tickling gallery fame), Faith (member in good standing of the TMF), and Mya (all of the above). Upon my early arrival, I saw Toria sitting there with nothing to do. So in the course of conversation with one of the other ladies there who I knew from an earlier visit, I asked if she would be a good person to assist with my research. The look on Toria’s face as she was unexpectedly asked if she was ticklish - apprehension, big round eyes darting around the room and a nervous yet dazzling smile - and her body language – arms drawn in tight in a protective manner – as she said yes, was worthy of a clip all by itself. Where once there were three, now there are four.
I saw all four separately. I first sought to determine the approximate surface area of a section – ribs, abdomen, each foot, etc. – and then see how much of that area is ticklish, and then express it as a percentage. Add them all up then average them all out.
Starting with the ribs, once the general area was mapped out, I attempted to count each ticklish rib, and at the same time determine how much of it’s surface area was ticklish. Upper ribs (including underarms): Faith = 98%, Soma = Mya = 96.5%, Toria = 95.5% Lower: Mya = 99%, Faith = 98%, Soma = Toria = 97%.
Abdomen: Mya = 99%, Soma = 98%, Toria = Faith = 97%.
Skipping now to that spot various polls here show that most of us like to attack...the feet! Toes (including the base and in between: Soma = 100% both feet (absolutely amazing...she should be declared the eighth natural wonder of the world for this alone), Mya = 98% left foot, 97% right foot; Faith = 96% left foot, 94% right foot; Toria = 92% left foot, 93% right foot. Similar numbers were obtained for the other foot parts, arches, balls of feet, and dropped only a little for the heels and for Soma, down to 99% left foot, 98% right foot for the rest.
The only issue, if it can be called that: none of the four would hold still, so I had to start over and go through the whole thing again...and again...and again...
Other discoveries: I now know the spot, above all others, where Mya is the most ticklish. I promised not to tell, but I 100% guarantee you, when you find it, there will be absolutely no doubt about it. Hint: It is also Toria’s most ticklish spot. Soma and Faith are ticklish there as well. Another fun thing I did was to tickle them while having a conversation with them. Hearing them try to talk while laughing so hard is a sound that is a delight to behold.
Any other numerically minded members here are encouraged to provide constructive criticism or, better still, devise, research, and trial test their own method ( I am still working on how to factor in the intensity of the reaction – and rest assured, there was plenty of that).

If dictionaries were printed as I would print them, you would be able to look up the word sweetheart and find their pictures, which don’t do them justice by the way, prominently displayed as shining examples. All four have a fun-to-be-with rating that is off the charts. I cannot recommend them more highly.

Seems like you lucky bastages can afford to spend serioius bucks on yours! No matter, I wouldn't consider it money wasted.
