Furries rojoice! There is a musical production in the works (In fact, the first act is quite close to done, read on.) for the furry fandom! It's called Yiff! and it's about a 19 year old guy figuring out his identity as a furry and going through what many furries here have no-doubt experienced.
Yiff! is brilliantly written and, IMHO, captures the experiences of a budding furry expertly. And, get this, it is written and performed by all non-furries! After hearing that, I highly doubted it would be any good, but it seriously blew me away.
Now, as I alluded to earlier, only the first act is out, and it's in 16 separate parts on youtube. The vids show only a reading of the script, but it's amazing nonetheless. In truth, there are 17 parts, but part 6 was removed from youtube for what I'm assuming is explicitness.
I wont link directly to youtube, because from what I understand that's a one-way ticket to having a vid removed. But just go to youtube, and in the search box type in "Yiff the musical". Watch them in order to get the full effect (obviously). Happy viewing!
