We might savor some aspect of the situation, but it's still a "something-is-wrong" sensation, like pain. You've got to be really hard-wired "off-beat" to actually be physically capable of withstanding such a sensation in its more intense forms, over a prolonged period of time, without making an effort to express your physical discomfort in some way.

That's why most of us dedicated 'lers have interesting scars 😀

Oh sure it is! But I think when your body is experiencing something so intense, your common reaction is to scream "stop" while you're laughing of course. That's how it is for me anyways. That doesn't mean that I want it to stop though! If I have my arms raised and someone goes to tickle my armpit, I'm going to clamp my arm down out of instinct and trust me, I love being tickled there as it's one of my most ticklish spots. It's just how my body would react. It would take a Herculean effort on my part to be tickled there and not move. Although that sure would be fun to try!

The unbearable aspect is exactly why I prefer being bound. I WANT it to be pure torture, and a lack of control doesn't take away my sensitivity like it does for some. I like to lose myself in the sensations.

i think most ticklee's will beg you to stop even though they want you to keep going since this is what they enjoy and i have had a few tickling experiences where the ticklee asked why did you stop i told you never stop even if i beg.
