hi, i just wanted to open up this post for all of us "young'uns" on the board to talk about teenager stuff, stuff that still matters to us like boyfriends/girlfriends, school, and stuff like that🙂

well for me, i'm a cheerleader at my high school, senior year, and getting ready for homecoming. does anyone else on the board cheerlead, i think its lots of fun and would be cool to talk with someone about it🙂

A friend of mine is a cheerleader at our high school back home. She's a junior this year. I joke with her all the time about being a cheerleader. I tell her it's not a sport and she gets all frustrated at me. She throws all sorts of reasons as to why it's a sport, and I just cooly shoot them down. It's funny to watch her reactions. But cheerleading is still fun to watch I have to admit that. And I don't really have an opinion as to whether cheerleading is a sport or not. Just something I say to annoy her, so I don't mean to throw material about to start an argument.

yeah, it is pretty fun to argue if it is a sport or not, which of course everyone knows it is🙂

It's tough work no matter how you look at it......try doing the routines they do at the cheerleader competitions and see.

I havent let this one out of the bag yet, but what the hell. I am a cheerleader. Yeah thats right, i am a male cheerleader. Yes it is a sport. In college i have been a decathlete as well as a football player, division I-A. It is by far the toughest sport i have ever competed in. And where else can i show off my advances from the weight room. I love cheering.

I don't doubt for one minute that cheerleading is tough. I know for a fact I can't do any of it. If it weren't for the fact that I am very low on spirit of any kind, especially school spirit, I might have done cheerleading. Hehe, I guess you could say I'm more into the running around til you nearly pass out kind of sports. Soccer is my passion, so in comparison all others are inferior to me. 🙂
