Your fetish - how did it start?

For many years I thought I was the only one with a tickling fetish, but after visiting this place, I quickly noticed I wasn't. 🙂 For as long as I can remember (or at least from the age of 7 or 8) I've had a fascination for tickling and I've always wondered why. The thing is, as a child I was absolutely petrified by the bare thought of being tickled. I had nightmares about it and hated it in every way. But I still couldn't deny that I was extremely attracted to the thought of OTHERS being tickled (I was turned on by it, of course, but at the age of 8 you don't reflect on that!). My guess is that my attraction to it somehow has a connection to my early fear of being tickled.. Or something.

What do you think? How old were you when you found out about you fetish, and why do you think you have it?

I've always been extremely ticklish, and I still hate being tickled.. Until a couple of months ago, when I told my boyfriend, I hadn't let anyone at all know about my fetish. It was very special for me to let him know. He thinks it's cool and he has made a lot of suggestions since. He is very happy to be my 'lee, and you know - I'm just thrilled! :super_hap

A good question you asked...I guess I put my blame on everyone tickling me from childhood through highschool...and now college X3
It's hard to pinpoint why i like it, but hopefully like many of you the exposure to it probably developed some kind of fetish, especially when one is able to first really develop a fetish XD

My story is somewhat weird...but here it goes. When I was in kindergarten we had a music teacher that liked to sit us on the ground around the back of the piano. One day she was talking to us for a long time about something (it must not have been that important) and I noticed she was dangling her shoe. I always sat up front. I leaned in and started tickling the top of her foot and it distracted her, but I pulled my hand away in time so that she didn't know who it was. My fetish most likely started back when I was 5 or so. There was this teenage girl who used to live next door that I would occasionaly go over to talk to. My story goes way back, in much the same fashion as the original poster. Pretty much my story started when I was a toddler or so, I've almost frequently seen tickle torture segments in cartoons and almost expected them in every single cartoon show I saw.

For some reason, when I was young I wasn't actually obsessed with actual physical tickling, but rather that sensation in your stomach that some describe as tickly that you get when accelerating or falling. I had had a small fascination with tickling when I was young (like 5 or so) that eventually vanished for years. Then, in high school, when I was hanging with my friends, of the girls mentioned a slumber party, to which one of my guy friends replied "you should have tickle trampoline pillow fights". My own process of awareness, as regards my fetish, was similar to Big Jim's, minus the Bastinado. When I check out women on the street, at the mall, etc., in addition to the usual things most guys look at, I also check out their feet (I'm so glad that sandals and flip-flops were "in" this past summer!)

I found out as early as nursery school, that I liked being tickled. I found it soothing and often got a very mild buzz from it. One of my teachers from back then introduced us, during recess, to a low-impact tickling game (things were a lot saner back then than they are now), which I of course relished. As a kid, I'd play some of the usual tickling games (remember "chills"?) with other kids, some of whom would get frustrated that it didn't usually work on me (which sometimes meant that they'd have to try again!:super_hap ).

Oh my, mine had to start when I was about 4 or 5. My parents and Grandparents use to tickle my bare feet all the time. I use to hate it but then began to enjoy it. I can't exactly pinpoint the exact moment I discovered my 'fetish', though I can say that the first site that I found catering to this kind of thing was realtickling.com.
