This is so very true! People scoff at me when I say that my wife has to be in the mood or she finds the tickling annoying. But it is 100% true. With my wife, wine helps! LOL But also, her mood, the setting, etc.

For me, it's more a kink than a fetish, which I think works for her. She's ticklish, but doesn't love it- so it's only when she's in a full blown bondage mood or when we're wrestling/play fighting that I actually go to town.

That being said, one thing my wife absolutely loves are massages, especially foot massages - and she likes them at night just before bed- so she get's her tickles on a regular basis- soft tickles for only a minute or a few minutes- on an almost nightly basis.

I told my wife many years ago (had to have a few drinks at the time as was worried about the impact it would have and the relationship was going well - hence now wife). She took it really well and said it was common etc.

Unfortunately we’ve not been able to explore it. I’ve talked a lot about it but not sure how much sinks in. Problem is she has very ticklish feet (my favourite spot) and very beautiful feet which she often has out. But she’s against tickling. Says it annoys her and doesn’t understand why I would do something that would annoy her. We’ve had some interactions but nothing on the level I would like.

So I’ve been directed to communities and look to try and get my tickle itch scratched elsewhere. As mine is a kink as opposed to a fetish, it hasn’t got to be sexual so I can tickle and be tickled without causing issues. Still working on reaching a happy ground but the best thing is that it’s good to talk and discuss these things as hiding them sos no one any favours.
