Hey guess what? I got shot a couple days ago. But I'm fine actually, I just happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time, and I caught a stray bullet. It caught me somewhere near my shoulder/neck, and went out through my back, and didn't really hit anything except meat. I knew that the bullet went through because my blood was on the wall near me. I just layed there until the cops showed up, because they were called, obviously. I was still awake, I told the cops everything I saw, and then the paramedics came and got me, and took me to the hospital. Anyway I was there for a day, and then I came home. I figured I'd tell you guys, cuz I'm so desperate for sympathy. Lol. I'm gonna go rest some more, I guess I'll post later or something.

It happens quite often here, I'm just lucky. Most of the people around here who catch stray bullets don't live. I don't know who shot me yet, but I will soon. Everytime members of a gang go strapped, their "superiors" know about it, and all of my cousins are "connected" to these things in a way, so, I guess I'll just wait and see...

Man, SheDevil...I am sorry to read this. However, glad to quickly read in the same paragraph that you are ok.

My thought is for the little punk that shot that gun, is not to have him/her arrested. But yes, for you to beat him/her to a pulp...then if he happens to be male strip him nude, and take a peice of ply wood, oh..about 5' by 5' or so..cut a hole about the size of a silver dollar in it, and slink his balls through the hole and paint the little raisins up with Cheez-Wiz..now we need a rabid, ravenous 3 toothed rat to gnaw at the cheese..freakin' punk...he has no balls to need a gun, may as well not have the jewels anyway.

Sorry to hear that girl! Hope you have a speedy recovery. A few people from my college town were shot this year including one frat boy by a stray bullet. Hope your family is dealing with it well. I guess now you can put out your own hip hop cd and rip on Ja Rule.

.22 don't usually pass through: they are weak but jacketless. They penetrate and deform.

.38/.380 are more likely to pass through without damaging the tissues too severely, since they are jacketed but usually sub-sonical - so shock doesn't reverberate to close organs.

I've been shot before! Round about where you were shot SheDevil, but it actually hit the bone and broke it! It was a part of someone attempting to mug me! Me and my girlfriend (Marie) were walking down the street when a mugger came out of an alley pointing a gun at us. I refused to give him my money and he pointed the gun, not at me, but at Marie. I wouldn't let him so i got in the way of the gun and he shot me (aren't i a little hero :tounge: ). So i punched him with my one good arm and K.O'ed him! The police came, i went to hopsital and it was over!

Doesn't matter if it's worth the risk, it's the principal of the matter. Somebody almost took my life, so, maybe I should try to take theirs...
