VLC player can play .flv files, as well as like every other media file ever 😀 . Well worth getting. It works on both windows and linux systems, and on Mac OS too I think. Link included below:

to keep you tube videos, all any one has to do is goto http://keepvid.com/
Once there, you put the video link in the text box and select youtube.com video. When the download link comes up, you just click it, name the video to whatever you want, and make sure you make the extension .flv. This site even has a .flv to any format converter, its called replay converter.

Could you guys take the time to post your youtube finds (converted videos) in the forum(s)? I only mention this because I only have a mac. So I can't use Flash. If possible, Many thanks.
 
hey guys, any clue as to why all of the tickling videos off youtube are being deleated because of 'terms of violation'?
 
Any number of reason. One, they were just purchased by Google. I imagine Google is going to remove anything even slightly offensive. Another possibility is that many of these clips were paysite and the producers have reported them. A third possibility is that we have a troll or two going around and reporting anything with tickling in it.

Here's the way to get these clips in FLV :

1) Go there : http://keepvid.com/
2) Paste the YouTube clip link in the KeepVid bar
3) Select "Youtube" (where there is "Any site" by default)
4) Click on the "DOWNLOAD" button :
">> Download Link << (.flv - Flash Video)" will appearing under the KeepVid bar
5) Right-Click on ">> Download Link <<" and select "Save target as..."
and rename the default name "get_video" by "clipname.flv"
(of course, you can rename the clip once downloaded, for example "Family Guy.flv")

That's because you use Firefox rather than Internet Explorer. Prompts are slightly different across browsers. The function of the two options is the same.
