Many books, articles, inspirational talks, and therapy sessions have noted this often used, but also overlooked system of improvement.
It's more simple than we think, and almost always yields excellent results regardless of how you are using it.
Most of us have been using it since we learned how to walk, and talk, but maybe no one has ever slowed down enough to emphasize it.
The system is just this.
Whatever you wish to improve on whether its communicating with others, learning a musical instrument, changing faulty behavior, getting better at a hobby, striving to become a better tickler-massuese, or fill in your own practice that you wish to become better at; strive with intentionality to improve in this subject, or practice just one percent each day.
Just one percent.
Maybe some days will be difficult while others you make progress, but the main goal here is to become better step by step, day by day.
Maybe it doesn't feel like you are making any progress, but after 3, 4, or even 12 months of one percent victories we can then look back on how wobbly we were just some time ago, and feel real accomplishments for the progress that we have made.
Like baby steps that feel like we are living in slow motion, and maybe we are but regardless of how slowly the progression comes; we are improving just a little every single day, and that is how we become better at just about anything.
It's funny how we reach a certain age, and suddenly feel like we should know enough, or spank ourselves because we don't know more, and we become bitter, or frustrated when we should really be striving to become better.
Just One Percent friends.
It sounds so simple, and obvious that we are constantly missing the rhythm, but commit today to improving just one percent a day at whatever you are wanting to become master, and you will be on a better track than most people are because they are usually busy thinking that they already know all that they need to know.
There is always more to think about, process, and become better at. Some may call this the The Institute of Life Long Learning, and yes; they have several studies that revolve around tickling, understanding anatomy, and How to stimulate the nerves with incredible precision.😜
Just one percent a day, or one step at a time, and pretty soon you will be looking back at how far you have come, and be proud of who you are today.
Let,s move forward shall we.
Thanks for reading friends.
Until we meet again. Cheers.🍻
