Sooooo....
I almost never watch any show while it is currently streaming, on TV... etc.
I am the person who will discover a show years after it has ended. I will often stay up all night to binge watch multiple episodes. And when I finally finish a great series, I will miss it like I miss an old friend. I may even watch it every year and make it a tradition.
For example: I must watch Pushing Daisies at the end of July and beginning of August, just as I am preparing for the start of a new "journey." IYKYK... But as I'm organizing, cleaning, hanging up posters, planning, and all of the things, I am falling in love with Chuck and Ned again. And falling DEEPER in love with Emerson Cod- Chi McBride... Goodness!
This past week, I started Killing Eve. I have never watched it before. And good gracious did it check all of my buttons. ALL OF THEM! There is one scene at the beginning of one show that was so ME that I was instantly triggered (aroused.. LOL), and was definitely late to work. I finished the final episode on Sunday. And I had to ponder it, look up the fans' reactions to it (Oh! They hated it so much!), rewatch it, and grieve the loss of all of my favorite characters. Of course Konstantin was my all time favorite. Of course he was. (Because I cannot resist a burly, bearded man with a loud infectious laugh... Evil and good at the same time. Dom/ Daddy vibes Ugh! I will fall for that character every single time!)
Now, my life is empty and meaningless. I need another show to fall in love with to frantically binge while forsaking all of my very important ADULTING duties.
AND YES! There WAS a brief tickling scene in the show too. I had been waiting and waiting and hoping and waiting. And I was rewarded. It was humorous and dark, so I watched it a couple of times.
"What if I tickled you? Would you laugh then?"
"Don't tickle me!"
"That's a yes!"
Pick a show for us to watch together. LOL
I was kinda kidding, but now.... Hmmm
