A little background.
I had a corneal transplant in December of 2008. I have a disease in my eyes thet deforms the corneas. So all has been well for the last two years. No problems what-so-ever. A little over a week ago my eye got itchy and irritated. I thought I was havin some allergy problems and did not give it a second thought.
Two days ago my eye started to get cloudy. Now it is worse today. I thought about caling my eye doctor. The only issue I am facing is that I was told the success rate declines if they have to do it again. I had the surgery because I would go blind in the eye. Now I am not sure I want to do it a second time.
My left eye is in great shape so I keep thinking I should count my blessings and except the fact that I may lose my right eye completly. I am content with that. I took a shot at getting it fixed and I guess it did not work. I am not sure it is worth spending more money to try again.
I just had to vent a little. I am doing OK with it and everything it just sucks that it did not work. I guess I will be a pirate for Halloween next year. 😀
