Since my mom died, even though I am feeling better than I was.. I've undergone some major personality changes.
I still enjoy spending time with friends, both real life, and online. I still love to watch Jim Gardner every night from Philadelphia. I still like tickling, wonens feet, hearing about women being barefoot on ladders, and I still think about girls being dominated by tickling and toe sucking bandits.
Yet, certain things that I used to care about, just dont seem important anymore.
I dont follow baseball, even though I'm going to the Mets Brraves game on Aug 12th.
I dont really care much about the election. I personally think that both Obama and Romney are very flawed, and that neither can solve the country's problems. I will vote for Obama, but if he loses, I wont take it to heart the way I would have in the past.
I told my father yesterday that I;m unsure if I want to get married, or have a relationship.
While I still enjoy some things that I used to.. others just seem hollow, and not important.
To be clear, I function. I'm not catatonic, or suicidual. I still do plans for business and work, food shop, go out with friends and family.
Something is different.. most important that my relatives have no time for me. I know they all have other priorities that dont include me.
I dont know what any of it means, and whether things that used to be important to me will again, in time, or whether my personality and priorities have just changed.
