So, I finally got tired of opening one of my drag-rags and seeing Lady GaGa's face. I decided to check out this new phenomenom that is "Poker Face".

As far as the actual music video goes; there's a few things I would've done different. I get the whole need to look "space"-esque due to the techno beats being somewhat futuristic. However, she should've fired her make-up artist for slapping thick Kohl under her eyes.
I would've replaced the two dogs in the opening sequence with White tigers. Cus they're just more badass.
Now, the issues I have with the song is that whenever she's rapping (except in the closing sequence), she sounds like she's got something wedged in her mouth. I can't get down with the constant feeling to want to tell her to get the dick out of her mouth.
Once we get into the chorus, the first person I thought of was Christina Aguileria. They both could've sat there and sang that chorus and I wouldn't been able to differentiate. The final rap sequence when she's talking about muffins and love gun stunnin'? The pacing of that sequence was a direct pull from Fergie's Fergalicious.
So, we've got the White hair and chorus voice of Christina and the rap pacing of Fergie.
The reason it's catchy? Well, the girl's clearly hot. And everyone loves a techno beat.
All in all, the songs catchy enough to dig. The lyrics are shallow enough for any girl to assume their own 'poker face' and the beats nice enough that hopefully some DJ will turn it into a stellar full-out techno song.
This will be a song you'll love to hate. Or if you're already into that scene; you'll kill the hell out of it on your Mp3s.
