Hehe, it's funny when I first joined here, I thought there were cliques, too. I guess it's because I felt intimidated by the well-known posters and didn't think I'd ever talk to them because I felt that my status on the forum was so low, being a new member and all. But then I made good friends with active members in the community like Jay and Brent and Jo and Ru and *lightbulb* I discovered that these ppl were just as normal as everyone else. Just real people who happened to know each other real well through gatherings and regular chats. And if it was a clique, they wouldn't have even talked to me in the first place. lol Silly me.

@Ray - Thanks, Ray. It's been a blast getting to know you and Tracy. You two are the most welcoming people anyone can ever know.

@Amanda - I know, right. That's exactly it. We've all been there, especially newcomers and delurkers in the past few years. Seeing these heavy hitters on TMF, it can cause you to feel self-conscious, to hesitate in trying to get to know people. But once you start trying and getting to know people, you realize that people you were scared to talk to are just regular people, crazy, fun, friendly people, and it makes being on here so much better.
