The end of the holidays is always sort of depressing for me, especially now that I'm not near my family. My mom and brother flew home today, early this morning. I went back to bed after dropping them off at the airport. Lee's still gone, and I miss her like crazy. Right now I'm finishing up an assignment she gave me. I'm a little stuck, and my deadline is in less than an hour.
I'm on my couch watching Family Guy season 7. I ate a small dinner, since I'm back on my diet today. I slept most of the morning, and when I got up, I painted in the basement until I ran out of primer. My mom primed and painted almost the entire basement, and the baseboards and doors while she was here. All that was left was the stairwell and the wall it's a part of, and the laundry room wall and door. Those are all going to be a pale lavendar (it goes with the metallic purple on the rest of the walls), but won't be so dark, because I don't want the stairwell to be dark. So I primed the stairwell and laundry room door and 2 remaining walls, until I ran out of primer. I have to pick some more up tomorrow morning, and I hope to finish priming *and* painting then. Then I took a shower and worked on my assignment.
I need snuggles from mah mommy. =( Yay for a three day weekend, and I hope I see her soon.
