So now it has a name.

I woke up this morning, still battered from the flu, and I said to myself what I always say on mornings like this:

>snort< Hm. Not dead yet.

And then I realized what a fine name that would be for a blog -- the reason, you see, is above.

It was about time the blog had a name.

Don't really have much to say right now besides that being sick sucks, and I hope all of you are well.

I reckon I'm thankful -- my immune system's a beast and can take stuff like this, and over the years of nigh perfect attendance, I've built up enough sick time that I could take several months off from work if I had legitimate reason... I apologized to my supervisor last night for having to call out the whole week and leaving him short, but he just laughed and said I was making his job easier -- taking some pressure off of him -- there's been a shortage of OT available, and staff are clamoring to fill up the spots that I leave open... Everyone wants to make a little extra dough before the holidays.

I don't know quite how to end this entry and I'm tired, so I suppose I'll leave it there.
