I LOVE to cook! One of my hobbies actually. I go through phases....like, I'll become obsessed with Korean culture and go to the restaurants and then try to recreate the food at home. Then I'll move on to German, Italian, Greek, etc. I'm big on trying out new recipes too. It's just a lot of fun!
And omg, I LOVE chips on my sandwich!
I thought I was alone there lol.
Honestly though, the train ride wasn't all that bad. I haven't read two books in a single weekend (not including those damn school textbooks) in a long long time.
Lol, never fear Primanti's! Trust me, it's all good. The quick version of the story - said sandwich was developed in the working district of Pittsburgh (aka the Strip) for workers that had no time to stop for a break. It was their way of getting one whole meal in one sandwich, that way they could work while they ate (guess their bosses sucked lol). It's so yummy! They have a lot of different options but my faves are the steak and they pastrami. The coleslaw that's on there isn't really coleslaw. It's a vinegar/sugar based one so it's like a sweet and sour deal. I know it sounds strange but trust me! If you're ever here, I'll take ya to get one!
As for Pat's, I've heard yummy things about them. They're the "King of Steaks," no? Or do I have them mixed up with someone else? Either way, I want. Gimme.
I don't know, maybe. I didn't think I was going to be able to make this one, but everything sort of fell into place... and Jessica kept bugging me about it.
