No, not Caan, Kahn, the guy who killed Spock, causing him to be shot out to the genisses Planet, witch Kirk goes back to because his Katra is in McCoys head. Thus leading to an encounter with the Klingons, that causes Kirk to blow up the enterprise. So in a way Kahn caused Kirk to blow up his ship. Hell if it wasn't for Kahn, Kirk and friends might not have been away from earth when the Probe came, there for they wouldn't have been able to zip back in time to save the wales.
