Glad people are finding the link interesting. Apologies if it's not working for a couple of you.

I have never met an escort for tickling purposes but sometimes have been desperate enough to start considering the pros and cons of it. Like The Internet says, I tended to think that most of them aren't ticklish - or they have to learn not to be, just like they have to learn to cut out a lot of other feelings and sensibilities to survive in their job - it could be a bit of a liability, as he says.

While I am not an escort am still a type of sex worker.

For question number one I 100% agree and I would say in my line of the work the clients can become a nuisance. Thankfully I've never had to deal with clients who've become enamored with me, but I know some pros who've had this happen. Some clients would confess their love for them and I know a poor pro-switch that dealt with an abusive Dom for way too long that would insinuate he just knew she wanted to have sex with him if the laws would allow it(I'm the one that finally told her that she needed to think about her health, safety, sanity, and less about the money. The guy was a douche and he was never going to get better.). Now the hard part is having to explain to a client that he can't see you anymore and it is also hard for the pro because you loose the money. Some take the news better then others. For instance that Dom I talked about sent really angry/awful emails and you sometimes hear of pros getting stalked, but more often then not the client will be understanding.

2. Maybe this is just me, but when I am in professional mode I don't ever have feelings of intimacy. It's a job and I treat it as such. A lot more work is put into paid sessions then regular non-paid sessions. With paid sessions I feel like I am putting more of a show on(I do my hair, I do my makeup, I make sure my pedicure looks good, and I dress up(I usually ask if they have something in particular they want me to wear.)).At the end of the day they are paying me to take care of their fetish, fantasy, or BDSM desires, so I am more focused on making them happy. That's interesting, Porcelaindoll2. I'm not surprised at your answer to point 2 - that when in professional mode you don't have feelings of intimacy - because I can see how necessary that would be - to keep up a certain barrier.

On the other hand it somewhat contradicts my own experience of the power of tickling. Maybe it is a matter of temperament. Personally I can't separate tickling and intimacy. Clearly some people can. This is what I am trying to understand better. And what I also find interesting is that I can see how for some people even sex is more easily separated from intimacy than tickling is.

Honestly, I've never even thought about it. But there is logic in your words. Tickling seems to be more intimate than sex. When we are tickled, we can't control ourselves. This even hurts some people.
